These 5mins episodes are just...not enough. I wish it could be longer or, at least, posted everyday

It may be faster than traditional animation but it still takes a lot of time to make.
Those 5min might take good few hours to make.
I'm just glad they make the effort. I prefer this kind to the still image animation that is coming out alongside it.(I watch them anyway though 😉)

Few hours? You have scripting, timeliine setting, voice casting, mocap casting, people who need to put everything together, testing and fixing. Not even to mention each episode demands at least few original assets which need to be supplied one way or another.

Since I did some 3D work, I can tell you that this 2*5min episodes per week makes then like fucking gods on how well they succeed.

Sure, you can make 20min episode per week if that is cheap trick release like Soul Land where very few non-asset things happen per episode and content is stretched to be reused as long as possible (stair climb for example). Look how Tunshi Xingkong quality dropped with s2 where they went from pre-production to mass-production

you sir are absolutely correct. i was only thinking of the actual 'make the assets move' part and completely forgot all the extra work that goes into a complete episode. my guestimate was waaaay off. but i'm still grateful they are willing to spend the time on it. :) even more so now :D

lol. why didn't they just killed that younger dude since he was so seriously injured. These guys can't do a smart move.
